Oscar's dogs are barking

Here's our new family pet, a little scottie dog. Fortunately Oscar started officially walking this weekend (!) so we can put walking the dog on his list of chores.
I might need to make a lot more of these, the pattern was so easy and I have a pile of thrifted tweed skirts waiting to be reborn as cute little puppies!

***I got the pattern for this dog from a Japanese craft book. The info on the book and the ISBN and how to order are all in this post.***

Oh my gosh, these are too cute. Is this your original pattern? Would you share?? Email me if you're willing to share, otherwise I'll just have to make do with drooling over your adorable puppy!

That puppy is soooo cute, not to mention the little red shoes. I'd love to ask for the pattern too, but am hesitant to add it to my already too long list of projects! Congratulations to Oscar on his big achievement and good luck to Mom and Dad, it's a whole new world with a walker in the house!

sorry, I know this is an old post...but I love this dog. I bought four old tweed coats at the goodwill store for $1 each this week and I would love to use one of them to make this dog...was it a pattern from a book? I would love the name of the source if there is one...so I can get one for myself. thank you!!

I was looking for a scottie dog to make for a baby gift and I came across scottie. The first one I saw that actually looks like a scottie dog. If you are willing to share the pattern I would be very grateful, it would suit my purposes perfectly and I know the person that I am giving it to would be overjoyed.

I was wondering, the book that you got this pattern from... are the instructions in english or japanese... or both?
or can you easily follow along with the diagrams?
if you don't mind, could you take a picture of one of the pages? im not sure if i should buy it since I can't read japanese.
RSAP PLEASE! thank you =]
