Jennifer sent me the coolest link a while back to Australian quilt outfit Be Be Bold Quilts. They use a lot of japanese fabrics and simple designs.
One of these designs is the coin quilt made up of prints and solid sashings. I think I'll try one of these next. Such a great way to showcase many different fabrics and still have a cool modern feel to it. It would make such a cute baby quilt too. Maybe even an "I spy" kinda deal with different objects from novelty prints in each square.
I really like Be Be Bold's baby quilts too. Here's a cute one - pink and red - yum yum!
