one two punch

First pillowzilla and now a stuffed van for Oscar. I'll win him over with my softies yet! This success I owe to Rosa who sent me some amazing ribbon embroidered with cars(!) and a cool Aranzi Aronzo pattern for a stuffed car and van. Thank you Rosa!

here's a shot of his little smile

I'm lovin' that van! How did you get the wood wheels to stay on? Did you have to use heavy thread?

Very cute. I've been thinking about making a little stuffed VW bus to match my big VW bus.

Groovy van! It reminds me of a VW bus. Might this be a start of a new fleet of wheeled wees for Oscar?

Very cool - the van makes me think of awesome 70s family road trips! Brynne is currently obsessed with buses - perhaps I should try my hand at something similar... How did you manage the wheels?

the wheels on the van are tied on with dmc floss. I sewed them back and forth though the body of the van and through the buttons on top of the wooden wheels so that they'd still spin.
