In case anyone is having trouble getting dressed and made up this morning I thought I'd post these. Hair style and make up transformation tips for every woman. I found these at an antique store years ago. I don't know what I'll ever do with them but I just couldn't pass them by - even though they were a fortune.
Each card (they're are about 10 of them) have the before drawing on the outside and then you open up the flaps to reveal the after on the inside. Before...
During...
After...
Check out poor worried pear before...
after..sex bomb!
and here's oval with the most remarkable transformation yet!
I'm sort of a square so I should be looking like this...
but I'm more like this these days.
Although today is a special occasion - last day of holler-like-you're-pinching-me music class. I might even take a shower!
this is hilarious (hillaryous?). I'm sportin' the neglect look most days (including the big nose).

I am all for neglect - the eyebrows on the models are something to behold and must involve huge amounts of unnecessary pain. Although Oval has somehow acquired filmstar eyebrows after having weedy lines before. Bet they would melt in the heat, though.
Your picture is excellent!

I too noticed that eyebrows have a lot to do with these transformations.
I guess a good Maybelline pencil is in order if you want to make it out of Neglect mode! :)

This is great! Exactly what I needed this morning - not the makeover but the laughs. (okay maybe I could use a the makeover too *sigh*) I'm still laughing about the music class... I'll miss the special little names you always come up with once it's over. have fun.

i think i fall into the sad category of "neglect"...

Worth every penny you spent on these! Poor "neglect" is more in need of a nose job, than a new hair-do.

Ha ha ha ha! Those are awesome. Nice how all the gals essentially end up with EXACTLY the same hairstyle and make-up, regardless of the shape of their face.
I've always said it's all about the eyebrows.

Once again we learn individuality is just plain wrong! I couldn't help but admire the lovely neglect woman - she's taken the time to brush her hair and her bangs are nicely trimmed. My version of neglect (I've been sporting since I was in high school) would most likely be called "severe neglect". Thanks Hilary for the Monday pick me up!!

did they have any transformations for round faces? or would that be sad miss pear face?
i agree with the others, it's the eyebrows that make the most difference.

Definately I am neglecting my hair. How could I? What would my husband think? Oh my, must go and bake, and do my hair.

How fun! I am neglect too!!!
I am going to have to link to you again! I just linked two days ago to show off your darling robot...now this wonderfully funny makeup/hairdo book!
I should look like the beautiful oval bombshell.
She actually looks like my mother looked when I was growning up!
Thanks for sharing!

Well, I did bake today which makes me 50% woman, I guess. But the style needed for baking in late May is "neglect" because of the sweating, and no one wants hair in the food, so pull it back into the pony tail!

Amazing how the lips actually get bigger in the after pics. And I didn't think they had botox back then. :D

Thank you for reminding me why I became a hippie so many years ago. My mom was the June Cleaver type...so I rebelled.
I just love the pictures-what a hoot & well worth the price paid. I laughed so much.
Neglect is definately me, especially on the weekends. During the work week I try for more conventional looks. When I actually roll my hair I have the 40's over one eye kinda look. ALways amazes me my hair will do that...& I look cool.
Namaste`

I love how they go from having thin eyebrows to perfectly shaped, full eyebrows...
