And for finish what you've started month I thought I'd revisit a project I started back in January. Back then I was reading everywhere about Denyse Schmidt's new fabric line and thought it'd be a fun self challenge to try to design a fabric line in one day just by looking around the apartment for inspiration. I came up with 4 or 5 sketches that I thought were pretty cute but when Tim started messing around with them in Illustrator it quickly became apparent how much work it would be to actually do anything with them. Since it was a just for kicks project it got shelved but I think I'm going to try to finish one of them up and maybe print it out bubble jet style on my printer to make myself a new summer bag. Anyway, that's my finish it up idea. Now to just get a still weary from pattern book design Tim on board. Remember these dear?

Do you ever have bad ideas? Everything is just adorable. I love the fabric, the butterfly, the sketch, and who can forget Oscar and his cookie.

Overwhelmingly incredible per usual!! What am I going to do with you? I guess I will simply have to study your every thought so that I know the exact origin of talent. Would you mind e-mailing each and every one of your thoughts to me for analysis?

I love the fabric idea. You have really unique, small pattern designs that would work really well for REAL fabric. You should consider contacting Free Spirit and making a pitch. Commercial fabric makers are always looking for fresh design. My latest Hancocks of Paducah catalog is a little boring if you ask me. Paired with your own patterns I think it would be the next big thing. Not that you don't already have a million ideas on your plate :)

I like that fabric. The fabric world needs a touch of whimsy. So much of it is so literal. I found a place online recently that prints (digitally) small runs of fabric. It's on my other computer or I would post it right now. I love bubble jet set, but it seems like the colors aren't all that vibrant. Maybe if you start out ultra bright, you could get the color you want. Also, I wish there were fewer steps. Listen to me complaining!

I want a happy sewing stamp too!

The pods fabric design is a lovely marriage of fuzzy animal and plant. It has a Japanese flavor. I just bought some delightful handkerchiefs in Japan. You are a creative powerhouse and you could be an design icon.
