it seems innocent enough
Just a nice square wicker basket tucked out of the way.

But in reality, it's the basket that this came in (which is already hanging on the door) and it's housing all of the Christmas ornaments I've bought in the past week. I've already made my annual trek to Kmart to check out the Martha Stewart Christmas stuff. I've already been to Target to check out their new stuff (and the Amy Ruppel decorations). And yes, I've already been to one Christmas Fair. You can click on through to the flickr to see what's what. And no picking on me! You know this is how I roll.

I do the same thing. I'm pleased to know I'm not alone. What did you think of the Martha Stewart Christmas stuff at K-Mart?
I was a little under a month behind you in the pregnant department last year. I feel the same way you do this year.
All the best!

Boo-hoo, I miss Kmart and the Martha Stewart stuff. I love the red clock. Maybe I can catch some of her ornaments at Macy's!

I love Martha Stewart's stuff, but I HATE KMART. Our local one never fails to have terrible service and missing stock. However, those pretty balls make me want to go try again (I took a vow - seriously - that I was Never Going Back To Kmart).

rad! I am starting my collection of 07 Christmas stuff myself :D

Dude, I've already baked and frozen three batches of Christmas cookies! There is no such thing as starting too early -- all the good stuff will be gone if you wait to long. And those are really pretty ornaments -- I wish we still had Kmart in Canada. Or had Target at all. Boo.

Every year I make my own Christmas cards, but last year I was in a pinch after having just moved and used the Kodak site. They have Martha Stewart Cards. Just an FYI...
I'm not going to post the entire link, but here is the website

What a gorgeous wreath and ornaments--your house is going to be decked out beautifully for the holidays.

The Kmart on Roosevelt Road seems to have the best Martha Stewart stock. But don't go after dark on your own man.
That cuckoo clock is the best!

Oh, how I miss Target! I think I'll spend the day there when I go home in a couple months. I'll be bringing an empty suitcase too. :)

We no longer have Kmart here, but I wish we did. They closed all of the Georgia ones about a month ago and are putting Sears stores in their place.
I am looking forward to seeing what Macy's has though. And I agree with the ladies above, you can never start preparing early enough for christmas.
Have fun picking out your goodies!

I heard Amy Ruppel was designing for Target. Looks so nice!

For those who are Kmart-less, I saw most, if not all, of these beautiful ornaments on their website.

Guess I know where I'm headed tomorrow while the kiddo's at school. Off to KMart & Target--maybe even Ikea! Hope you all save some for me!!!

I didn't see the Amy Ruppel stuff at Target. They are just starting to put out Christmas stuff though, so maybe they will come eventually.

I'm with ya. I just did my first Christmas related post too.

No one should pick on you , they will all be jealous when all the good stuff is gone and you have it! Such pretty stuff!
Posted by: michelle | Nov 7, 2007 11:06:34 PM
OH CUTE!!! You made me googlemap KMart and I found out we have one just a few miles away. Hope our's hasn't been picked through by any of your blog readers yet!!!

I just did the exact same thing and got that same wreath and the glitter (and some more stuff we won't tell Andy about until he sees it on the blog). But I wish we could've gone together and then gotten some hot chocolate and Frango mints at Marshall Fields. I meant to tell you that it didn't close until 1986, and oh, it was a sad, sad, sad day. Weiboldts, where you got ALL your Brownie and Girl Scout and which had a fabric dept., closed before that, but not much before. Sigh. I love old dept. stores.
Okay. Miss you, hope all's well. xo
