Chloe would like to say...

Thank you for all your Quilting Bee orders! She's overseeing distribution and says that all orders between now and Tuesday will head out on Tuesday. After that we should be back on our all orders out within two days schedule. She and the girls are very pleased that everyone's feeling the handiwork vibe these days.

She's also telling me this hair I've got her in has got. to. go. I know, I know. I'm on my way to the yarn shop.

Are you guys going to be weirded out if I keep talking to the dolls?  ...yeah... I used to read that wee wonderfuls... she kinda lost it though...

I love that you talk to your dolls - I talk to mine! ;) I swear they tell me what they want to look like! Love your blog by the way - always fun and inspiring. Keep up the great work!

Hey look! That doll stole one of your barrettes!

it's not so much that you talk to them, but...that they talk to you. ;)

tell her I love her hair, and tell me what she says. because I do.

Hey as long as your dolls don't start talking back you should be fine! :P

Love the dolls!

What? We're not supposed to talk to our dolls? But then they will feel ignored...and let me tell you hell hath no fury like a dolly ignored!

My Olive doll says she doesn't think that's weird at all.

;)

Don't worry Hilary, I still talk to my Panda. Had him since I was 1 and every birthday I take him down from the shelf for a cuddle...and I turned 37 on Monday! Eep!

as long as you don't start speaking through the dolls...though i can't say i wouldn't find that completely fascinating ;)

Please don't stop talking to them. It gives me great hope that my daughter, who still has imaginary friends AND talks to her dolls, will grow up to be a successful creative person =0)

My cats tell me that it's perfectly fine to talk to dolls.

Hahah--I talk to any projects I have going on...you are not crazy:-)

I love the little button hairclip. I may have to borrow that idea.

I think your dolls should just start up their own blog. :)

Posted by: heather | Feb 16, 2008 3:17:57 AM

on the contrary, I would be quite pleased if your blog were overtaken by the dolls now and the. I will then, in turn, write my blog in the voice of a sock puppet over my hand.

I love her hair! She's a cutie. Nobody could resist talking to her.

I love that hair too! She's just having one of those moments... it'll pass and then the hair will be great again. Actually it looks like my hair today after selling Girl Scout cookies in the freezing cold wind! I think any girl with dolls has "heard" them talking... mine are mad right now because they're in a bin in storage... they'll get over it! (after I apologize to them)

I've just started calling the dolls I'm making 'the girls' and have found myself chatting to them on more than one occasion. I think it's normal... isn't it. :/

Posted by: Jennie | Feb 16, 2008 6:58:46 PM

I love all the doll talk! It reminds me of any creater's creative thinking :),

Posted by: meredith | Feb 16, 2008 9:44:02 PM

Not weirded out in the least! But perhaps that says more about me!

Posted by: michelle | Feb 16, 2008 10:51:37 PM

I name everything and talk to myself all the time. I have been called a "dork" so many time I have lost count. "Yup, thats me. I'm a dork."

Posted by: Beth | Feb 17, 2008 12:20:32 AM

*lol* You're perfectly normal - we ALL talk to our dolls. :-)

Posted by: toveb | Feb 17, 2008 9:37:05 AM

Do you use the same high-pitched squealy voice my girls use when they talk to their dolls?

Posted by: mary | Feb 17, 2008 2:41:26 PM

You talk to your dolls, I talk to myself. Perhaps we need to get out more...

Posted by: Wendy | Feb 17, 2008 2:47:50 PM

I can not WAIT to get mine!! :)

Posted by: Stephanie | Feb 17, 2008 4:21:21 PM

Oh. I thought the dolls were talking to *me*.

Posted by: luckybeans | Feb 18, 2008 6:25:47 AM

I don't think her hair is bad. Of course, it looks a lot like mine....

Posted by: kari | Feb 18, 2008 11:52:06 AM

Well, even if you don't like your hair, a springy clip always helps.
