sugar city journal
Happy day after Presidents Day. I know this is a hard day for everyone. The festivities & excitement are over and all there is to look forward to is packing away the extensive President's Day decorations and play with the deflated President's Day balloons while eating day old President's Day cake. But here's something to cheer you up... some amazingness from a new blog favorite of mine, Sugar City Journal.
Sugar City Journal is two sister-in-laws, Melissa and Lynne, who share their craftiness and sewing projects with each other and the rest of us get to spy in. I'm awestruck by the gorgeous clothes they sew up for their daughters.
and they take the cutest photos...
and they had a doll clothes swap that I'm so crushed I missed out on. how fun is that!
if you guys are ever looking for a third sister I'd like to apply!

I think I may leave my decor up for another week or so- you know, to get us out of the winter gloom!
I love this blog too and was SO tempted to do the swap, but deadlines make me nervous especially when they involve mass production of something.
Their sewing is totally inspiring.

LOL! It will probably be the middle of March before I take down my President's Day tree. Boxing up all the ornaments is such a drag.
