purples

Almost the entire month of April has been spent in big laborious, stressy, behind-the-scenes, long shot sort of enterprises. I'm ready for a break! The weather has been beautiful and yesterday I took Oscar & Phoebe to the park. Me! Not my babysitter, not Grandma, but me. It was lovely. I have a few more things to finish up and then it'll be on to...well, I guess sitting and thinking about what it'll be on to. That will be lovely too. And it might be purple related. Not generally a fan but I have been digging on lavender and its friends lately. I think it's because Phoebe looks so pretty in it.

I love the purples! (of course I've always been a fan - but I've got about the same color hair as Phoebe!) That tutu is so darn cute!

Fun stuff! I'm revisiting purple too, mostly because my daughter is named Violet, and because purple can be such a nice break from pink.

Is that the start of yarn hair on that doll? I so need a how to!

That purple Kaffe Fassett is one of my favourite fabrics - it pops up all over my house in lots of different projects! I only wish I could buy some more. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your purple!

Phoebe looks so cute in her tutu, and I love the big purple bow. I love all the decoration at the bottom of them, the blue really goes well with her shirt.

I am generally not a Purple fan. but maybe it's the teal (my favourite!) that's making me love that so much.
