shop news
Hey guys, I said I was going to mention what was coming to the shop so here's what I've got. I've been sort of frozen in indecision the past few weeks (months?) but I've snapped out of it and made some decisions that I'm sticking to! First up will be Kit, Chloe & Louise paper dolls.

We're going to do them as PDFs so they can be printed multiple times, on different weights of paper, etc. That way if you screw up cutting them out (like I would) you're not out of luck! I'm having so much fun drawing outfits. I've got my Sesame and Milk magazines out and am scouring them for just the right fashions to match the girls' personalities. So that's a little paper craft project.
For stitching we've got the Picnic Fairy Stitchette which will be the next embroidery pattern. Look for those in June.
And for toymaking...the other thing I'm hoping to launch in June is the next make-a-long story featuring Kit, Chloe and Louise. I'm going to do these gals as PDFs as well. That way I can get them to everyone faster and also... I think they're going to be pretty long. This way I can ramble. I think we're going to sell them all together so it will be patterns for three dolls (including yarn hair instructions) and three outfits. It will be more than the Put-together books are, probably $25ish.
So that's what's on deck. Hope this is happy news. I've heard from quite a few of you and was sorry I had nothing but vague, slightly cranky things to say. I'm feeling very excited about everything again. And ok, now that I've written it down I'd better get to it!

I am *so* excited for the doll patterns. I don't sew (very well), but these three have me convinced to take another stab - and maybe make a suitable Christmas gift for my own little one.

Very excited about the paper dolls - they're a lifelong obsession with me! My oldest is nearing two, so maybe I'll be able to play with them with her - thus the pdf is a great idea, in case they get spoiled! However, I'm wondering if it would be possible for you to offer a B&W version? I don't have a colour printer, so it would be very expensive for me to get them printed (especially if multiple copies are needed for the weens) - plus colouring in has always been part of the fun, for me. Just a thought/suggestion; maybe other potential buyers would also be interested in such?

I am SO excited about the doll patterns. Kinda costly for a PDF though. Any chance they'll get split up. Much easier to sneak $8 through paypal than $25.
